Lee + Wilkinson Architecture is a design led practice based in Clerkenwell London, dedicated to creating architecture that engages the client in the design process. We believe that each project should be a bespoke response to its context, uplifting one’s experience through the careful use of materials, space and light.
Founded in 2017 by Jeffrey Lee and Dominic Wilkinson, Lee Wilkinson Architecture have developed a reputation for delivering challenging projects through thoughtful design. Working closely with clients and consultants to find better ways to design, specify and build. We seek to have a dialog with those who are building, understanding and improving construction methods in each project through design. We bring over 30 years of combined experience in architectural practice working on residential, commercial, leisure, retail, hospitality and cultural projects.
Jeffrey Lee is a co-founding Director of LWA with over 25 years of experience in Architecture in the United States and the UK. He holds a Bachelors of Architecture from the University of Oregon School of Architecture and a Masters of Architecture from Harvard Graduate School of Design. Prior to founding LWA, from 2005-2017 he worked at Wilkinson Eyre where he was an Associate and project architect building on his experience delivering award winning projects in the commercial, residential, cultural and leisure sectors for. He led the design team from competition to construction on two prestigious projects the King’s Cross Gasholders and Splashpoint Leisure Centre in Worthing. Originally from the United States he has extensive experience from practices such as Kennedy & Violich, Allied Works, and Holt Hinshaw. He also held teaching positions Catholic University School of Architecture and Planning as well as graduate assistant positions at the Harvard Graduate School of Design.
Dominic Wilkinson is a co-founding Director of LWA with over 20 years’ experience in architecture in the UK. He holds a Bachelors of Architecture with Honours from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne, a Masters in Computer Imaging in Architecture from the University of Westminster and a Diploma in Professional Practice from the University of Southbank. He also is a Director of Wilkinson Design Studio LLP where he delivered the Landscape to Portrait in the courtyard of the Royal Academy of Arts with Chris Wilkinson. For three years he worked at Wilkinson Eyre delivering the King’s Cross Gasholders and marketing suite.
